Asbury Park’s Jean Johnson Showing at the Paint Place

By admin

Jean Johnson, an art teacher at Asbury Park High School, is at the Paint Place at 605 Cookman Avenue in Asbury Park.

Her work is unique in that it is not only sculptural, but created from recycled aluminum plate. The process involves the metal being cut, painted, then folded into shapes that fan out complementing the flat wall surface. The exhibit will close June 8th, so drop by the paint place to see Jean and her art.
