Jill Kerwick Showing at the Paint Place
The Paint Place gallery on on Cookman Ave is currently showing the work of artist Jill Kerwich until May, 13. Jill’s work includes collages and paintings mounted on canvas. Jill Kerwick paints and makes collages, the work is often humorous. Source materials that interest her often come from garage sales, British royalty, 17th and 18th Century art and contemporary literature.
Jill received her Masters of Art from NYU in ‘95. She teaches monotype workshops and lives in Fair Haven with her significant other and their portuguese water dog.
Presently she is showing some collages at Meira Gallery in Bogota Colombia. Last summer she was invited to show some collages at Blank Gallery in Brighton, England.
She has also exhibited in many juried shows including Lehman Maupin, NYC, the Minnesota Nat’l Print Biennial, City Without Walls, Newark, Moore College of Art and Design, the Kimmel Center of Performing Arts and the Monmouth Museum.
