Parlor Gallery presents the opening of “La Petite Mort”
On Saturday, June 20 The Parlor Gallery presents the opening reception of “La Petite Mort.”
This group show features a collection of erotica by artists working in a variety of media. Artists include Ellen Stagg, Eric Kroll, Pet Silvia, Brooke Holloway, Janine Gordon, Michael Rosen, Ed Fox, Vivienne Maricevic, Beatrice Morabito, Heidi Kirkpatrick, Carolyn Weltman, Lucy Russo, Becky Yee, and Circe.
Oh Friday June 19, the gallery will be holding a special preview of this exhibition to coincide with June’s Collide-A-Scope from 7-9 PM. Parlor Gallery will also partner with The Showroom (708 Cookman Ave) to provide two additional events to complement this new show. At 7 PM, there will be a showing of “Passion and Power: The Technology of Orgasm,” followed by “Get Naked: Life in the Erotic Art Industry,” a lecture by Ellen Stagg and Vivienne Maricevic.
