Hopeless about what to do Friday night? Sure, we know. What can one do in the turbulent times of today? Well, one thing you could do is take a walk through Asbury Park’s Historic Downtown and watch history being made. I know. You’ve heard it all before, but this time, we mean it. The Jersey Shore’s first shopping district is rapidly becoming the center for Arts in Central NJ. One of the reasons, a big reason in fact, is Collide- A- Scope. Collide-A-Scope is a monthly display of creativity both in the art being shown and performed and in the method of i happening at all. What do you do when you have more creative people and artists than galleries to show? You expand the definition of “gallery” and let the art happen.
The third friday of each month is a banquet for every palate. Check it out. It costs nothing and may just lift your heart and inspire your spirit.
