“Love Asbury Park” Boardwalk Festivals
“Love Asbury Park” is series of three events held along the boardwalk in Asbury Park, NJ. Open from 10AM-5PM. These festivals will feature a variety of exhibitors, food and a special area for the children.
Summerfest - Sunday, June 28 (rain date 7/5)-on the Boardwalk-this event will be a combination of new merchandise, arts and crafts and kid friendly exhibitors.
Arts & Crafts Festival – Sunday, July 26 (rain date 8/2)-featuring over 50 exhibitors showing handcrafted works.
Kidfest – Sunday, Aug. 30 (rain date 9/6)-will feature exhibitors of all varieties with a special emphasis on vendors displaying kid friendly goods, as well as, clowns, face painters, tattoo artists and more.
Open Mic
Shout out for performers…JC is holding “Open Mic” at each of these events. This isn’t karaoke, we’re looking for real talent. So call us, email us or just come down and sign up if you are interested. Open Mic runs from 11AM-4PM during these festivals.
Kidz Zone is a new outdoor area where the kids can have a great time. It’s open every weekend on the Asbury Park Boardwalk from 11AM-6PM at the 2nd. Ave. pavilion area. Each week there will be a variety of kid friendly exhibitors and plenty of kid’s rides and bounces. You’ll never know who will show up…face painters, tattoo artist and maybe a clown or two. Kids…there is also a water park and a miniature golf course not to mention the beautiful Asbury Park beach. Opening day is Saturday June 27, 2009 and running through September 09.
